Tiburon is located on the Tiburon Peninsula. The peninsula gained its name first from the surrounding water’s leopard shark population. Tiburon is bordered by Mill Valley to the west and Corte Madera to the north but is otherwise surrounded by the waters of the Bay. It is a trendy, wealthy community offering gorgeous views of Richardson Bay and San Francisco Bay and even the SF city skyline.

If you get hungry, stop by Angel Island Cafe, a charming café that serves daily-made, fresh salads, wraps, and sandwiches with beautiful views of the Bay. Also in the area is Luna Blu Restaurant, a seafood-focused eatery with gorgeous harbor views.

Tiburon has many great activities to partake in, whether you want to spend a day at a park or beach or attend a local event.

One of the best events in the area is Main Street Music in Tiburon. Taking place every Saturday in July, it’s the perfect place to listen to live music in Downtown Tiburon. Another great event is Foods from Around the World, a five-day celebration of global cuisines.

When you want to spend a day relaxing outdoors, visit Paradise Beach County Park, a waterside park with a beach, picnic areas, a fishing pier, and beautiful views. Another beautiful garden in the area is Angel Island State Park located on Angel Island, featuring campsites, hiking and biking trails, and panoramic views of San Francisco.
